History

Leiricargo has extensive experience in the transport sector. Initially named Artur Figueiredo Lda (founded in 1968), it was in 1990 that the current partners acquired the company through the transfer of quotas, with the company starting to operate in the market under its current name in 1995.

Leiricargo has been growing gradually and consistently. Starting with a team of three employees and a small fleet, the company today has a significantly larger team and fleet.

Leiricargo is primarily dedicated to road freight transport, both nationally and internationally. Since its inception, it has been known for its constant rigour, flexibility, and innovation.

In 2000, Leiricargo established itself in its current location, in modern facilities specifically built for the company and duly equipped with all the handling and safety devices essential to its activity.

In 2004, the company was certified in the scope of quality management under the international standard ISO 9001.

Since 2010, Leiricargo has been annually recognized with the SME Leader Status.

In recent years, the technological advancements that have been felt have allowed the company to become faster and more competitive, reducing the impact of its ecological footprint.
